Yin Gentle Yoga is for those who are new to yoga or haven't worked out for some time. It is perfect for those needing to increase muscle flexibility, reduce stiffness in their joints, and improve weakness or muscle pain. Classes are geared toward improving balance and strength by using slow movements, working with props for support, and relaxing poses to ease the mind. Slow movements and deep breathwork are used to help reduce tension and aid relaxation. Student should be able to rise from floor without aid of others. 60 minute class.
