Petroleum Quartz, or Golden Enhydros, are a specific quartz formation that has natural trapped petroleum within its crystal structure. Many are naturally double-terminated or in tabular form. This trapped petroleum formed over millions of years through decayed organic matter deep beneath the Earth. These will fluoresce under UV light and appear to glow a light blue, green or purple.
The properties of Petroleum Quartz is similar to Herkimer "Diamonds" in that they are high vibrational crystals and will strengthen the properties of other stones. They work well with Moldavite.
